The following message was received from the organisers of the Good Friday Run on the 2nd of April....

The Good Friday 2nd of April 2010

Just a quick reminder that The Good Friday Run is less than 2 weeks away. This year registration is available on the day at Feet First, 28 High Street, Killarney from 2pm to 7pm. Registration will NOT be taken after 7pm.   Race starts at 8pm Sharp.

You can enter online at
www.thegoodfridayrun.ie.

The Good Friday Run takes place on the 2nd of April 2010 through the streets of Killarney. The organisers hope that the event can combine fun runners, joggers, club athletes and top class internationals competing over a fast 5 mile course through the streets of Killarney by night.

This event is being professionally timed by Red Tag Timing. The first man and woman will receive €400 each with an additional bonus of setting the course record for next year. The race has an AAI permit.  Prizes will be on offer to all category winners and everyone who takes part in the event receives a goody bag. The entry fee to this unique event is €20.

This year The Good Friday Run will benefit The Kerry Stars and Down Syndrome Kerry. There will be a strong family emphasis to this event where Feet First have incorporated a Number of Family events taking place throughout the evening including a children’s race to incorporate the Easter festivities.
