Notice... Kilsheelan 10 mile road race in Tipperary - Sun 11th March 2018

This new 10 mile road race organised in association with Clonmel AC is coming up on Sunday the 11th of March 2018.


The race HQ is in the village of Kilsheelan which is located just east of Clonmel in South Tipperary.


The 10 mile race starts in Kilsheelan and heads north-east towards Ballypatrick. The course is reasonably flat except for a a hill up to Kilcash Castle near the 5 mile mark.


After Kilcash Castle, the race course goes downhill again. The profile is shown below.



The race HQ is at the local community centre pictured below. This is just off the road north from Kilsheelan.

Entry Fee: 15 euro plus online registration fee of €2.10

Prize Money: €1,500
Numerous spot prizes based on preset finishing places.
All walkers welcome as 1 hour walking route included
All Race participants including walkers will receive a quality Free Reusable Coffee Mug
Refreshments afterwards
All runners will be chip timed by Premier Timing Systems.

The Suir Valley is a splendid part of the Country and with the mighty Slievenamon commanding it's presence there this should make for a truly scenic course
